Merika Reagan is the founder and creator of City Hikes Dog Walking. My certification comes from Hayward Animal Control in Hayward, California where I enjoy serving as a volunteer dog pet pal (dog walker). I am also an active member of Hikers and Hounds Hiking Group on meetup..... and have been very helpful to other members with basic training techniques. As a dog lover, animal advocate and Hayward Animal Shelter volunteer my heart began to feel very heavy about how many owner surrenders occur due to the down-turn in the economy. Tough times have caused many pet lovers to be forced to choose owner surrender after losing their homes and being forced to move into an apartment with a no pet policies or having to take on a second or sometime even third job which often leaves them with inadequate time or energy to exercise their pet properly. City Hikes Dog Walking was created to help all pet lovers be able to enjoy the company of a loving pet. Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance.
