About Me: Hello my name is Lisa. I'm searching for a dog walker/sitter, or cat sitting placement in the Glendale, Phoenix, Peoria and surrounding areas of Arizona. I am a huge pet lover and work to meet you and your pets needs. I have 3 dogs of my own, 2 being special needs. I understand how nerve wracking it can be, to find someone you can trust to care for your furbabies. I promise to care for your furkid(s) as if he/she were my own. I have many references that will testify to this. My motto is "compassion in action, be the voice for the voiceless and defend those in need." I am a pet sitter on Rover and have a clean background. (You must pass to provide services on this site. ) I have a flexible schedule for my clients. I'm available for 30 minute or 60 minute visits, as well as extended, in house sitting for your vacation, travel or job needs. Let me know what you are looking for, as my schedule is flexible. Description of Skills: I can take care of maintaining your pets health, feeding/water, facilitating exercise, walking, play and house training. I have experience with IVDD dogs and paralysis, which means I can assist with manual urination if it is necessary. (One of my dogs had cancer, resulting in a front leg amputation, which led to IVDD. His episodes of down time are off set with alot of TLC and stimulating brain activities so he isn't so bored.) I can administer meds and know both dog and cat CPR. I have a drivers license and vehicle for trips to the park, to mountain hike (weather permitting) and for vet visits if needed. When it comes to my qualifications, I have 35 years of experience with animal caretaking. Additionally, I have been an animal activist, rescuer and advocate since 2008. I've volunteered with several organizations over the last 13 years in this position, which includes working with law enforcement on abuse/neglect cases.
