Hi there! I am a 23 year old who moved to the central Virginia area in 2020. I grew up with animals, and missed mine dearly! Before I moved here, I worked at a dog boarding facility and was the go-to pet sitter for my neighbors, even into college! I have lots of hands on experience with dogs, and have owned shelties, labs, newfies, and spaniels. I'm not just into dogs though! I owned guinea pigs into my teenage years, and when I got an apartment in Richmond I got 2 rats. We quickly rescued a hamster and a mouse, and I got fish as well! Now I am a proud cat mom to 3 boys, and as I've never owned cats they have taught me a ton. My hands on experience with many different types of animals makes me great for families with "exotic" pets I have experience giving oral, topical, and eye medication in both dogs and cats, as well as small animals if I ever need to. I am very familiar with animal body language, and while not certified in "Fear Free", those practices are brought into my everyday interactions. You and your animals can rest assured in case of incidents- I am covered under Pet Care Insurance for pet-sitting and walking. My rates for drop ins and walks for single dogs start at $18, and overnights start at $70 (This covers 24 hours of care with 8 hours out of the home- NOT continuous care!).
