I pet sit & board dogs in my home - I'm not a big facility nor do I kennel any of my dogs. Put myself through business school as a vet technician & boarded large breed dogs for many years. My insurance business has been up and running for along time so now have time for my first love, big dogs!! If you need a RELIABLE, NON-FLAKY, at home individual with real experience-not just "a dog lover" especially in larger breed dogs, I am it. $25 p/day boarding fee-2nd dog is $20 p/day. Let me stress, your dog will not be kenneled nor in a crate unless you request for sleeping only. My motto is if you are looking for a kennel, there are plenty of them out there. Most who come are free to roam either in my home or ourside, whichever is their choice. I have some regulars that are here one day per week and a couple that come to stay one week per month. I have a large back yard - securely fenced with GREEN grass and 2 separate dog runs, one that runs along the side of the house and a second area, also separated from the backyard. The runs are only used to keep a dog separated, if need be or to do the doggie shuffle. The garage is heated, padded and carpeted so if a dog needs to be separated at various times, that option is also available. If your guy is well behaved and socialized, he/she is welcome to sleep inside with us and whomever is visiting at that time. If your guy or gal needs to be crated to sleep, please bring with you. I have one personal dog - he's an 8 yr old bullmastiff who is neutered. If you bring a male dog, please let him also be neutered. I am competent administering meds, both orally and intramuscular so if special attention is required, that is not a problem. I will not have more than 5 dogs at any given time and am available anytime, including weekends and holidays. I walk all dogs twice daily, rain or shine. I am home 95% of the time only leaving for various errands, etc. Please be current on vaccinations and bring your own dog food. Each dog has their own food regiment and from experience, understand staying on "THEIR OWN FOOD" is important, especially when they're away from their home. I don't have any small children in my home-fyi. Will bathe your pup for $10 extra fee/let me know before you come for pick-up so he's ready to go! References available, of course.
