As a pet owner I have cared for all types of animals including large and small dogs, cats, horses, birds, even guinea pigs and small mammels. My husband has trained bird dogs over the years and together we just love animals. We live on almost 4 acres next to a nature preserve so the setting is very peaceful. Note that we only board dog families - meaning that we do not mix dogs that do not know eachother. That way we provide lots of one on one attention and keep your dog/s very happy! The care we provide is specific to the needs of the animal. It is key that both the animal/s and pet owner feel comfortable with me. For example, if it is a young puppy then I want to be sure that I am working with the dog that is consistent, with an older dog I will be sure to not overdo it. Certain animals, like dogs, can have separation anxiety and its important that your pet knows that they have someone around they trust and enjoy being around.
