Who I Am: Hello my name is Jonathan. I'm 49 years old, intelligent, introverted but sociable and communicative male. Potentially in interested in concierge-type jobs, including pet care and house-sitting in and around Medford, Oregon. Services And Training: I have house-sat a few times, but a long time ago, and really have no references. I know cats VERY well. I instantly, almost always, get along with stranger cats. I grew up with them, and they like me and trust me. I have been known to heal their mental traumas and re-socialize them, though I'll defer to your guidance on what you actually want me to do. *IMPORTANT* I work a lot at my day job. So I can't hang out with your pets 24 hours a day unless you're paying me (too much) to do that. I can hang out with them for a while, but not all the time. I'm self-employed, so nothing restricts my hours, so I can do what needs to be done any time of day. I just won't be in any one place all day. I am educated and domestically-inclined, but I have some limitations. DOGS are not my specialty. I love training them, but I'm not a dog person. I've proven myself a naturally gifted dog trainer. I've changed the lives of multiple dogs just by showing them new ways of communication and life. But... I'm a cat guy, not a dog guy, so I want you to connect with a dog person. I hope I can be there for any and all of your animals when you really need me. I am NOT proficient with plants. I do NOT have a green thumb. That said, if you have specific instructions for plant care, I'll follow them to the letter. Other animals - I love animals, and am reliable to perform menial tasks in support of their care, but just know that I'm not an animal parent, nor a veterinarian, so my knowledge of your animal(s) will be limited.
