Hi there! I’m Paris, a university nursing student with an immense passion for animals, and I'm excited to share my motivation behind becoming a pet sitter with you. My journey as a pet sitter has been deeply influenced by my love for animals and my vast experience in caring for them. It all began with my grandma's black Whippet Lab, Sadie. Whom we rescued from the Dominican Republic four years ago. Spending countless hours with Sadie instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility. This unforgettable bond motivated me to explore opportunities to work with animals beyond my family. Volunteering at the Baby Bandit Centre rehabilitation for sick wildlife has been an eye-opening experience. Witnessing the resilience and vulnerability of these animals has further fueled my determination to make a difference in the lives of all creatures, big and small. My commitment to animal welfare extends to my German Shepherd puppy, Apollo, whom I rescued from a challenging situation. Apollo's transformation into a happy and healthy companion highlights the importance of providing animals with love and care, regardless of their background. He has even learned to love and protect all four of my cats! My true calling lies in short to long-term pet sitting. This allows me to build strong connections with pets, understand their unique needs, and provide them with the utmost care and comfort. I am comfortable looking after all animals , reptiles included. As I continue my journey as a pet sitter, Each experience reinforces my belief in the transformative power of compassion and the bond between humans and their pets.
