Hello! My name is Stephan Beffre. I'm a Wildlife Biologist with life-long animal experience. I'm a responsible, caring, and trustworthy adult living in Carmel, NY. I know how much your pet means to you and will treat it the same I would my own. I've owned every pet imaginable at some point in my life, from furry critters, to exotic reptiles, to large dogs. If I haven't owned it personally, I've handled, cared for, or dealt with it in some aspect of my career. Before becoming a Biologist, some of my previous jobs included being responsible for a nature center's live animal collection, working as an Animal Care Technician at an exotic bird sanctuary, and working at a pet store. I'm happy to provide my CV and references upon request. I am available for one-time and/or occasional, reocurring pet sitting or dog walking jobs. I can come to your house to care for your pet (any type) within 10 miles of Carmel. I will not stay overnight at your house, however, I can do a night visit and return in the morning if needed. Alternatively, my wife and I can board overnight in our home. We can provide a fun, safe, and comfortable place for your dog. Unlike a kennel, your dog will receive personal attention in our house. We have a fenced-in yard and a large gated deck for dogs to enjoy in the warmer months. For dogs being boarded in our home, we must do a meet and greet before accepting the job, and he/she must be good with other dogs and kids. If you would like me to board another type of animal in my home, please message me with details. I can accept reptiles, amphibians, birds, and small mammals. Rates: $20 per 30 minute visit to your house includes feeding/walking/playing and administering medications if needed. This visitation rate applies to whatever type of animal you have. Additional $5 per visit for each additional pet. $60 per night for boarding your dog at my home. Rate is for 24-hour period. $10 an hour for each additional hour past 24. Reptiles, amphibians, birds, and small mammals will have reduced rate. Exact price will depend on the species and care needed. Accepts cash, Venmo, or Zelle.
