My experience is extreme regarding the variance in sizes, ages, breeds, and both physically and mentally handicapped/ill animals. I am always aware and respectful with animals, but I would say that there is no fear of pet behaviors anymore, as well as ZERO anger toward pets (even when "they" do the "wrong thing", regardless of what it is) due to understanding that they are acting on either Instinct AND/OR Learned Behavior. BASICALLY, I absolutely love animals and I really value the time I spend with them and the things we teach each other! <3 Pets in my care receive full-time, one-on-one attention. FINALLY, I am always flexible about doing extra walks, including some command/training practice on walks, or even a little jogging, as well as playtime and the length of that, the type of play, and the rules for stopping play immediately or in general due to not wanting to overexert the dog. I ALMOST ALWAYS include massages, ESPECIALLY after playtime or really active walks, UNLESS the dog shows any discomfort. Overall, I am energetic, intelligent, and responsible out of pure love for animals, if nothing else. Owners should also know that I do not, meaning WILL NOT, use "force-training" methods or devices such as electric fences, shock collars, choke collars, bark collars, or anything else that I KNOW (from Reading Research and FEELING ALL MYSELF) inflicts pain or repeatedly (showing it isn't effective anyway) causes discomfort.
