Pet Sitter in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota

I'm Katie, a lifelong animal lover living in Detroit Lakes MN. I mean every word I put in the headline. There's nothing more special to me than caring for animals. Most of my experience is with dogs (all ages and needs) and cats (even one who spoke french). I have looked after a few different birds, and once unofficially rehabilitated a fledgling pigeon that asked me for help. I've never worked with reptiles or others, but it's extremely important to me to give - and I truly mean this - every encounter with any creature my full effort and attention. Whatever I don't know about, or how to do, I will educate myself as much as possible and I will make sure to get exact instructions from you. Animals deserve respect, proper care and infinite love. I'll do everything I can to be whatever you need for your baby or babies. My services include but are not limited to: in-home pet sitting, overnight stays, multiple check ins during the day, walking of course, and some grooming. (I'm not a trained groomer, but always willing to help if I can.) I'd prefer to walk one dog at a time for their safety. I have tons of experience walking dogs of all kinds, I kinda of go into secret service agent mode with em - top priority is safety. But also know walks can be a wonderful, fun bonding experience. I'd also like to add that if your pet craves attention and affection, I will be overjoyed to help there too. Rates vary with location, animals, time etc. Within the Detroit Lakes area I can house sit or check in or do overnight for $25. Outside of town, we'll have to figure it out. Walking will have to be case by case, and has to be in town for now. Grooming, anything else - just contact me and we can figure it out.
