Hello! I am a Durham College Graduate with my Veterinary Assistant Certificate; My name is Kendra Gracey, I am 20 years old, and I am ready to work! I will take care of ANY animal you have, I would really enjoy gaining experience in all animals! I will be graduating from Durham College in June 2013 as a successful Veterinary Assistant, with the ability to work in your facility as a VA/ACW/ACA and be of great help to you, your employees, and your current and future clients. I am a responsible, reliable, optimistic individual who would be a wonderful addition to your practice. I am a volunteer for The Animal Guardian Society (TAGS) which has given me the experience to talk to people well. I have been complimented on my ability to talk with internal and external customers about company products and processes. While volunteering for TAGS, I have gained experience with handling animals and dealing with many different animal behaviors. I have put in almost 100 hours of volunteer work with TAGS and another 20 hours just for special events, such as fundraisers and social gatherings within the program. Upon graduating from Durham College with my certificate as a VA, I will be starting the Veterinary Technician program at my school of preference. Having a certificate as a VT will give me more experience needed to further my career and give me more options for branching out in the animal industry.
