Animals are something that I am passionate about, they have never been a large part of my life personally which I believe allows me to appreciate the time I have with them more. I have volunteered in the humane society working with the dogs and cats as well as volunteered in veteranry clinics in my neibourhood. Members of my family have reptiles so I have had the pleasure of growing up around snakes and lizards of many different varieties and am comfortable caring for and feeding them. I have personally never owned a pet other than my hamster when I was younger, however, not having an animal in my life leaves me with the openess and ability to love and appreciate the animals I come into contact with more. I am a very active person and enjoy runs and walks with a dog by my side, and on the other side I love curling up on the couch and cuddling with a furry companion. I have experience cleaning up after all kinds of animals as well as feeding and caring for reptiles and birds.
