Hello! My name is Mae and I am an animal lover living in Brooklyn. I offer pet sitting in your pets comfort of their own home (Overnights OK) & dog walking. I also am a verified Rover..... sitter, with a certified backround check and a Rover Protection Pass, which give me 24/7 acess to Rover's Vet services. A little about my animal experience and why I want to care for animals. I am an artist looking for part time work, and thought a great way to make a supplemental income would be to do something I love, like caring for animals. When I was younger I dreamed of being a veterinarian and even spent two summers at a Tufts Veterinary School camp for high schoolers. Though I decided that medicine was not the route for me, my passion to work with animals never ceased. Though I went to a boarding high school, I made a cause to travel home for the weekends just to volunteer at the local no- cat shelter. There I cleaned cages and litter, feed the cats, and (my favorite part) let them all out of their cages for a few hours to give them exercise and socialization. My family has now adopted three cats, all from different rescue organizations. My cat Jaime, has acted as emotional support animal for me. Because of my belief in the therapeutic value of pets, I place high value and find deep satisfaction in caring for animals. In addition to cats, I have also worked as a overnight dog sitter and had a wonderful golden retriever growing up. Furthermore, I also have experience with small animals, like guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. Experience: B.A. from Muhlenberg College.
