Pet Sitter Job in Chapel Hill, North Carolina

I'm an
Individual
My cats are neutered females, and both rescued. The oldest (about 15 years) has been declawed. The youngest is 2 years old, and has her claws. They do not go outside. They do not require any medication. The cats are reclusive. They will hide from you until they get used to the routine you set up, and they do not "cuddle" well at all. The youngest will scratch if she is held against her will. They will be quite miffed at me for leaving them. I will show you their favorite hiding places. Fortunately, our home is open enough for you to find them quickly. I will have everything you need to keep them fed, clean and maintained. In a perfect world, I would prefer to have someone stay in our home with the cats. But, I think they will be okay with a visit in the morning and a visit in the late afternoon. If you can just stay and watch TV or read for an hour each time, perhaps they won't feel abandoned. (Can you tell I am having anxiety issues with this?) We live outside of Chapel Hill in a very quiet subdivision and it is completely safe here. We will be needing you from 6-23, through 7-9 at the most. Should the trip be cut short I will let you know right away. We are going to the Outer Banks. I expect the cats to be fed and watered - I keep the bowls full all the time. I expect the cat litter box to be cleaned each day. And I expect any accidents (generally it's vomiting a hair ball) to be cleaned up. If they let you, please play with them, and at the very least talk to them even if they are hidden.
